This year's Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival includes various kinds of activities to allow the public to sample the festive atmosphere and to appreciate traditional arts and crafts. Apart from spectacular lantern displays, the carnival will also feature intangible cultural heritage elements such as traditional lantern making.

The programme is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Festival.
