As the moon waxes full, visitors took a pleasant stroll in the garden. With A Delightful Journey through the Lantern Garden as its theme, and drawing inspiration from showcasing Hong Kong's distinct flavour, the Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival promotes Chinese culture and facilitates the integration of culture and tourism. The highlight lanterns include food-themed lanterns and lantern in the shape of blooming flowers, which exemplify authentic Hong Kong’s culinary culture and symbolise a wish for a prosperous Hong Kong respectively. The carnival also presents Heartfelt Wishes to the Moon under the Glow of Lanterns, a large-scale lantern installation displaying lanterns created by students and persons with disabilities, alongside various activities such as a Mid-Autumn Creative Market, fire dragon dance, traditional handicraft demonstrations, self-service lantern riddles and more to bring everyone a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival.

Lantern Display
The Lantern set is designed mainly on the theme of Hong Kong's distinct flavour, culinary culture and scenes of daily life in Hong Kong, to invite everyone to saunter through radiant displays of light to celebrate a warm and harmonious Mid-Autumn Festival together. A Feast of Light and Cherished Memories shaped like local delicacies such as egg waffles, Hong Kong-style milk tea, curry fishballs, egg tarts, wonton noodles and dim sum, beaming radiant smiles to spread the joy of the festival. Pandas and Steeds Beneath the Palms shaped as adorable pandas and galloping steeds, creates an ambience of vibrancy and harmony for all. Lantern-lit ICH: Shining with Craft Under Moonlight # is crafted by Mr HUI Ka-hung, a veteran paper crafting master that incorporates different ICH elements into the crafted lanterns, highlighting the unique charm of traditional craftsmanship of lantern making and the warmth of ICH handicrafts amidst the festive atmosphere.
