About the Programme
Elderly as the main target of the project which aims to build up the connection of the elderly and the community, and to develop their physical and mental ability through dance workshops, artist guided tours, screening sessions, exhibitions, performances and other activities. By their observation at parks such as the movement of trees, bird singing and the flow of wind, as well as their own memories and feelings, the participants can enjoy the fun of creation during the choreography process and become leaders and dance storytellers in the community.

About the Group
Founded in 2002, Joseph LEE as Artistic Director and ONG Yong-lock as Creative Director (Public Engagement), Unlock Dancing Plaza is determined to extend possibilities of dance making and aspires to develop a diverse performing arts ecology. Emancipate from institutionalised dance aesthetic, the company proposes to redefine dance as a natural form of self-expression, honouring individuality, and breaking from the production-focused par for the course. In recent years, Unlock Dancing Plaza makes new attempt to conduct various experimental projects to re-imagine dance.
