Young local artists, participants and art groups of the 18dART Community Art Scheme and district organisations join hands in performing band music, harmonica, street dance, cheerleading and more.
Gala Night

The theme for this year is "Happy Reunion by the Riverside". On these bright, moonlit nights, the Sha Tin Park becomes a festive playground with a wide array of lanterns taking the shapes of rabbit and other adorable animals. The Gala Night also showcases stage performances with strong Chinese flavours, such as spectacular ethnic music and dance by the Guangxi Art Performance Group; as well as Guangzhou cake printing technique and Cantonese mahogany palace lantern1, micro-engraving in porcelain2 demonstrated by handicraft artists. Lantern riddles will also be available for visitors to enjoy the festive season.
