Lighting-up time: 6:30pm - 11pm (extended to midnight on 17.9)

Dragon Palace on the Moon
In the Year of the Dragon, under the full moon, the celestial dragon in the Dragon Palace performed a joyful dance, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival together for people's good wishes and visions for the future. This scene, intertwining reality with fantasy, shows the Chinese people’s zeal for the traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the aspirations of chasing after the bright moon in the sky, and the vision of landing Chinese on the Moon.

Concept:
Created by local multimedia artist Jet HSU, this lighting display has been designed using the concept of the Chinese dragon. It is a seamless blend between traditional lantern-making craftsmanship from Zigong city of the Sichuan Province and multimedia art to show the remarkable achievements of our country’s aerospace industry and highlights of China’s astronauts during their visits to Hong Kong.
