To further promote artistic development and enhance the artistic atmosphere in the community, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and Yan Oi Tong Community Centre have collaborated with Drama Gallery to implement the "18d Arts" Tuen Mun Community Arts Scheme in the Tuen Mun District. The programme encourages residents in the area to participate in performing arts activities and create a community arts programme specifically for Tuen Mun. Through ongoing and deepening activities, the programme aims to promote performing arts within the district.
Building on the success of last year's musical theater programme, "Musical! Hovering High!", students of different age groups have stepped into the world of musical theater through beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses. They have gradually gained a deeper understanding of musical theater, discovered their own artistic creativity, and collaborated with other students to learn acting, singing, and other skills.
After a 9-month progressive musical theater course, the programme is coming to a close. Students from various classes, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors, will come together to participate in the final performance of the musical theater production, "The Future Diary of Lung Ku Tan." Using their artistic talents and skills, they will showcase a spectacular performance filled with music, dance, drama, and emotions that should not be missed!
Duration of the programme: Approximately 75-90 minutes
Language: The programme will be conducted in Cantonese.
