My Main Stage Music Production Pilot Programme was founded by renowned music producer Chiu Tsang-hei in 2016. It aims to nurture young people’s interest in music production and encourages them to make their first step in music career through a series of talks and workshops.
Free talks have been toured to more than 50 secondary schools, colleges, and universities. About a hundred of participants have joined the workshops in music production since the programme commenced. Until now, more than 10 groups have devoted to professional music production after participating in the programme. They continued to create new work, build their own music labels, and publish their work on major streaming platforms.
1st Phase: “Chiu Tsang-hei’s My Main Stage” School Talks
All free talks are hosted by Chiu Tsang-hei, who will introduce the now and future of Hong Kong music industry, and bring along the musicians of the programme to share their creations in live performance.

2nd Phase: My Main Stage Music Production Programme
The programme will teach the participants how to apply information technology in popular music production and create their own music. Participants will also have the chance to have the one-on-one guidance from Chiu Tsang-hei.
