The Mid-Autumn Festival abounds with characteristics of Chinese traditions and folk culture. To enjoy the festival with members of the public, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department organises Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival every year. This fun-filled evening programme includes spectacular lantern displays and various kinds of activities. The carnival also features intangible cultural heritage elements such as traditional lantern making.
