The programme aims to cultivate the interest in contemporary dance for teenagers and adults in the community, through a series of workshops and performances.
Through interaction among local artists from different backgrounds, the project aims at shaping and exploring the unique artistic identity of Yuen Long district.
Arouse public awareness and interest in contemporary dance, as well as the project, through the opening performance. A joint production with The Nonsensemakers.
Jointly instructed by local artists of dance and other medium, young and adult participants will learn to move their bodies in an artistic way as innovated by different medium in the tailored workshops.
Artists related to Kam Tin and Pat Heung district will be invited to share their views on cultural development of Kam Tin and Pat Heung, and also the role of arts in community development.
Workshop participants will showcase their talent to the community at selected locations across the district. Artworks from local cross-media artists, inspired by the unique district characteristics, will be put on display for the community.
The participating artists will unveil the background and blueprints for the entire project, as well as the interesting stories experienced during the process.
Exhibiting the project outcomes in different phases, such as the highlights of performances, guided tour, workshops, artists sharing sessions, interviews and artworks of community exhibition.

All activities of the scheme are free of charge.
