With main target of local residents aged 16 or above, the project aims to present the dynamic aspects of the Central and Western District in three art forms, including theatre, storytelling and photography, with a view to cultivate the interest of the local community in the arts and enhance their sense of belonging to the community.
An opening performance to introduce the scheme with an extract of storytelling performance about interesting stories of Central and Western District.
Led by an experienced theatre photographer, participants will explore the community and learn to use images to reconstruct their imagination of the Central and Western District.
Recruited through audition, participants will develop an understanding of theatre performance through learning basic theatrical theories and techniques.
Storytellers touring around the community to share interesting anecdotes about Central and Western District with audience.
Participants will showcase their learning efforts in the performance.
Taking inspiration from the photos of the Street Photography Workshop, participants of Training Course on Movement with Music Inspirations will re-create their work and present it theatrically in the finale performance.
