Wherefore Tai Po, Story Hunt in Alleys and Lanes

To stage an opening performance in Tai Po District and introduce the project details to residents.

An introductory course to provide basic knowledge about shadow puppetry. Participants can learn the shadow puppet-making skill in the workshop.

Under the guidance of the instructor, participants will learn to extract story elements from life and use their imaginations to create their own stories.

The workshop aims to give participants an opportunity to use mobile phones or pocket cameras to record different aspects of Tai Po district and feature their works through multimedia installation.

To let participants know the ecology of Little Egret, and capture its image by using picture or other forms of media.

The workshop is organised to offer in-depth experience and knowledge of puppet making such as hand-carving and silhouette making to participants. Under the guidance of the instructor, participants will also have an opportunity to make a Pop-Up Shadow book.

An in-depth workshop including showcases, exhibition and sharing sessions is organised to enrich the knowledge of workshop participants about different arts skills and to further cultivate their creative abilities.

An opportunity to touch different imaginary spaces through four programs and artistic mediums, and travel around Tai Po together with four-dimensional vision.

Workshop instructors will share their creative experiences and participants will also share their learning process and reflections.
