“SPECTRUM” Music of Dunhuang x Ink of Light – Immersive Music and Light Art Exhibition
An art installation created by a local curator/artist Mr Kaya CHEUNG, which combines the technology of "Generative art" and "Projection Mapping" to create a piece with seven sets of Dunhuang music with interactive lighting effects. Audiences can explore and feel the different combinations of sound and light that meticulously designed by the artists at different areas of the exhibition. Immersed in the environment, audiences can relax and meditate while experiencing the possibilities of interactive light, projected image and music. Inspired by the history of the Kwun Tong waterfront area, which was once a hub for factories, including many textile mills, the exhibition incorporates elements of fabric and ink painting. Through the use of contemporary technology, the exhibition transforms traditional art with historical significance of Dunhuang, creating an immersive and interactive light and music art space for the audience to experience.
