With main target of local community members, the project aims to present the dynamic aspects of the Central and Western District in three art forms, including theatre, storytelling and photography, with a view to cultivating the interest of the local community in the arts and enhance their sense of belonging to the community.
Based on the first “Story-telling Tea Party” last year, storytellers touring around the community again to share more interesting anecdotes about the Central and Western District with audience.
Recruited through audition, participants will develop an understanding of theatre performance through learning basic theatrical theories and techniques.
Participants of Training Course on Movement will showcase their learning efforts in the performance and audience could join the post-performance chat with instructors and participants for sharing views on the performance.
Taking inspiration from the Showcase Performance, participants of Training Course on Movement will fine-tune their work and present it theatrically in the Finale Performance.
Led by experienced photographer(s), participants will explore the community and learn to use images to reconstruct their imagination of the Central and Western District.
Participants of the Street Photography Workshop to showcase their work to the public.
