About the Programme

For promotion of harmonica music and arts appreciation in Sai Kung, the project provides systematic and advanced harmonica workshops to the children, teenagers, adults and elderly, along with free concerts and talks in the community.

About the Group

The Hong Kong Harmonica Association (HKHA) was established in 2002, with the aim to promote the art of harmonica music making and related cultural exchanges in Hong Kong and the nearby regions. HKHA promotes harmonica music making through the performance activities of its Harmonica Orchestra and HKHA St James’ Settlements Junior Harmonica Orchestra. It organises and participates in large scale cultural activities and is committed to educational outreach. The Association was highly recognized with a frequent ranking appearance in the annual Top 10 Music Headlines of Radio 4, Radio Television Hong Kong.

All activities of the scheme are free of charge.

To show care for senior citizens, people with different abilities and other communities in need, the LCSD has introduced the Community Care Series which offers a vast range of recreational, sports and cultural activities and facilities. For details, please visit its webpage at
