The project aims to promote and nurture appreciation of interactive storytelling and applied theatre in the community. A series of workshops, performances and sharing sessions about applied theatre will be organised to Tai Po residents.
To stage an opening performance in Tai Po District and introduce playback theatre to residents.
A platform for Tai Po residents to share their stories, which will be transformed into the art of theatre.
To showcase Tai Po residents’ stories told to audiences in the community.
In this programme, participants will learn and practice Playback Theatre forms, and have an opportunity to experience improvisational theatre. The programme includes:
Participants will learn to create a site specific piece under the guidance of the instructor, using the environment, atmosphere, and space around them. This piece will tell stories, history and the local historical celebrities of Sam Mun Tsai. The programme includes:
A fun day with different arts groups and workshop participants. There will be various activities and showcases, offering an opportunity for residents to enjoy arts and cultural activities.
A finale performance will be staged to showcase achievement of the participants of the project.
