This year’s exhibition under Asian Ethnic Cultural Performances+ will showcase traditional costumes and dance attire from around the world. As dancers move to the music, their costumes come alive, becoming flowing works of art that reflect each culture’s unique beauty and rich traditions.
From vibrant, flowing sleeves and vividly patterned robes to gold-threaded embroidered dresses, these costumes highlight not only exquisite craftsmanship but also deep cultural significance. When brought to life by the dancers, the interplay of fabric, colours and movements offers a visual journey across time and tradition, inviting audiences to appreciate the seamless connection between dance and costume — a true celebration of culture expressed through art in motion.
