An online video to introduce the scheme to the public and arouse their interest in street dance.
An introductory workshop for participants from different age groups to have an experience of street dance through learning basic techniques.
Street dance training class for different age groups in which participants would explore the possibilities of physical movement and body language expression.
Classes include:
Dance day featuring professional dancers as guest performers; participants of Street Dance Training Class will perform together.
Featuring participants in Street Dance Training Class, the performances will showcase their learning efforts.
Professional choreographers are invited to choreograph dance works for eight selected groups of young amateur dancers to provide performance opportunities for the younger generation.
Participants of different age groups in Street Dance Training Class will perform together in the Finale Performance to showcase the history, cultural characteristics and development of the Eastern District.
Programmes conducted in Cantonese.
All activities of the scheme are free of charge.
