The musical project aims to cultivate the interest of musicals for children, teenagers and the elderly in the community as well as foster inter-generational harmony through a series of sustained and diversified activities to promote the cultural characteristics of the Southern District.
To stage an opening performance in Southern District and introduce musicals to locals.
To recruit children, teenagers and the elderly in the district through auditions. After participating in a series of musical class and rehearsals, they will join the Finale Performances to showcase their learning.
Young vocalists from Bel Canto Singers will perform musical classics in small-scale concerts to bring musicals to the community audience.

Fun activities for families, the workshops will rearrange fishermen’s songs collected from the Tankas (boat dwellers in Southern China) into nursery rhymes to breathe new life into this distinctive local culture.
Performed by the participants in Musical Training Classes, the concerts will showcase their hard work and enrich their experience as performers. The two Christmas shows also prepare them for the Finale Performance.
